2002-2003. Around this time a number of friends and colleagues of mine in Canada and the US were getting positions of higher signority in the music industry. Due to these connections with them there was the opportunity to work on interesting projects with new clients that therefore came about. Such was the case with Lumberjack Distribution, a mid-level indie/punk music distributor based in the US, now sadly out of business. Around the course of a year there were numerous ad design projects showcasing distributed music in various big publications such as Vice! as well as a number of free CD samplers sent out to mailorder customers.
