Soft Riot

This was a video created for the track “You Are A Caged Dancer”, released on the Soft Riot album You Never Know What Might Come Next in 2015, with this video premiering in the early months of 2016. I’ve been doing a lot of collage work in this style for years in static images, but for this video I was looking to take that style and put it into the motion picture realm, which was a whole other dimension of complexity to do, involving animating separated parts, shooting myself on a green screen in a very small room and of course, everything pretty much on zero budget. Given that the desired result was overall achieved, and an approach to video production I aim to use at some point again in the future.
