There was a time in the early 2000s when Flash was the cool new thing and many clients, artists, musicians – you name it – wanted their sites built using this technology to take care of things like animation, fades, playback of media before things like YouTube and HTML5 were even a thing. Action Driver Records, now long gone, were based out of West Virginia and an decision was made to make the second version of site done completely in Flash. For the time the site was compact and successfully worked in the “post-punk” image of the record label. Yet like most Flash sites they were clunky to update content and soon got phased out for newer technology. These images are screenshots from the archived Flash files that haven’t been opened for about a good fifteen years.
