Mild Peril

Mild Peril is Chris Gilbert, an electronic music in London working in the style of “classic” progressive synthesizer music. Think Tangerine Dream, Michael Cretu… the list goes on. To match his epic, cosmic synthesizer workouts, this album artwork was commissioned to represent the fantastic interzone travel that is Mild Peril, with cues taken from the classic annals of science-fiction artwork, such as the legendary Omni magazine. The artwork for the 2013 release of Unknown Zones is part of a series of EPs that when the covers are placed side by side they form an even larger panoramic image, including the preceding EP, Voyager.
